Tiny Boss Privacy Policy
Effective
Your progress stays on your device. Analytics, advertising and ad-measurement services process limited information to improve the game, show optional rewarded videos, and measure our own advertising.
This privacy policy explains how Purgehold Games L.L.C. ("Purgehold," "we," or "us") handles information in the Android game Tiny Boss and when you contact us about the game. It applies to Tiny Boss; other Purgehold games have their own notices.
1. Information and why it is used
Game information on your device
Tiny Boss saves your progress, coins, upgrades, bosses, hats, purchases already delivered, settings, and your ad-consent answer on your device. This lets the game remember your progress and choices. We do not upload these saves to a Purgehold server.
Information collected by the services the game uses
- Device and app identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and an install ID): used by GameAnalytics, Unity LevelPlay and its ad networks, and Tenjin for analytics, showing and measuring ads, and attribution.
- Gameplay events (such as runs, upgrades, tutorial steps, and rewarded videos offered and watched): used by GameAnalytics so we can see where players get stuck and improve the game and its balance.
- Device and app information (such as model, operating system version, language, and app version), and crash and diagnostic information: used to run analytics and ads and to fix problems.
- Approximate location (country or region inferred from your IP address): used for analytics, to apply ad-consent rules, and to choose ads.
- Install source, ad revenue, and purchase information (the install referrer, revenue from rewarded videos, and purchase receipts): used by Tenjin to tell us which of our ads brought an install and whether that advertising pays for itself.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
What the game does not collect
Tiny Boss does not require registration and has no player accounts, chat, or cloud saves. It does not ask for your name, contacts, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.
3. Consent and your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before ads start, the game asks whether ad partners may personalize ads. If you say no, you can still watch rewarded videos for rewards, but the ads are not personalized, and nothing is sent to Tenjin. You can change your answer any time from the PRIVACY link in the game's shop.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your Android settings.
- Ads are optional: you can play without watching any rewarded videos.
4. Children's privacy
Tiny Boss is meant for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact purgehold@gmail.com and we will delete what we hold and help you reach the relevant service provider.
5. Retention and deletion
- Local game data: stays on your device until removed. On Android, open Settings, find Tiny Boss under Apps, then use Storage / Clear storage (wording varies by device). This resets your progress. Uninstalling also removes the app's local data, though a device backup may restore it when you reinstall.
- Analytics, advertising and attribution data: GameAnalytics, Unity LevelPlay and Tenjin keep and delete it under their own policies. To ask for this data to be deleted, email us and we will forward the request or help you use the provider's own request process. Clearing the game's storage does not delete data a provider has already received.
- Support correspondence: kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal or security obligations. You can ask us to delete it.
There is no Tiny Boss account to delete. We cannot remotely access or delete your device's local save.
6. Security and international processing
Information the game sends to the services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We limit access to support correspondence to people who need it. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country; their policies describe where and how.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Where the law requires a legal basis, analytics and fraud prevention rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the game, personalized advertising and ad measurement in the EEA, UK and Switzerland rely on your consent, and support relies on responding to your request.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change, and give additional notice where the law requires it.
